If you are like me, having a crush on someone can be nervous and exciting. You may be in your head debating if you should you say anything or not. While wondering if saying anything could lead to a happy ending or heartbreak. Because let’s face it, nobody likes getting rejected or having their feelings crushed.
My Crush History
In the past, I have had a few heartbreaks. Whether it has been guy friends that I have liked or new people I have met, I always seem to get rejected. Either I fall for the wrong guys, or I never gain enough encourage to tell them how I feel. Which ultimately leads to my heartbreak or me wondering what could have happened if I had of said something sooner.
So yeah even though I have not had the best of luck when it comes to guys, I have still learned some things along the way with every heartbreak. Which has made me realize that is not the end of the world if your crush does not like you back. Just move on with your life and let love or that right person find you.
Moving on from your crush
As hard as it may be to hear, sometimes moving on is your best option. Especially if your crush has a boyfriend/girlfriend or they do not see you in that way. Because the truth is, you can not make someone like you. I mean some may argue you can, but honestly, it’s not worth it. It’s better to have someone who likes you back 100 percent. Because then you will know that the feelings are real and mutual.
Being Honest and Realistic
When it all boils down to it, you have to be honest with yourself. Would you be willing to wait even if there is a possibility that you guys may never be together? Even in the chance that they become single again, will you stick around? Because truthfully, you may not know, when that is going to happen. It can happen next month, next year, or even years down the line.
So when it comes to the question of what to do, I would say see if the person is showing signs that they like you back. And if you have enough courage to tell them that you like them, then go ahead. Because either way, the worst they could do to you is tell you is no or not interested. Furthermore, always remember to work on yourself first, and then everything else will fall into place. If this crush flops, then move on with your life and be happy. Don’t wait around for someone that you are not sure of because you could be missing out on someone else who is better.
