Either You Hate It Or Love It: Working In Retail

Either You Hate It Or Love It: Working In Retail

Either You Hate It Or Love It: Retail Nightmare

For many, it can can either be a love or hate relationship when it comes to working in retail.  One day you may love your job, but then the next day you might just say to yourself “this job sucks”.   Or you may just hate the job all together because you can’t stand customers, coworkers or even your manager.

I can say that for me and like many others who have worked in retail, it’s not always going to be sunshine and rainbows. You will have days that people will test you, while other days you may not have any problems at all. The thing to remember is that even if you get mad or something, try to let it go.  Because at the end of the day, it’s not worth losing your job over.  So if you can get over it, just move on and keep it moving.

So make sure you guys check out my video below in which I talk about my worst experience working in retail.  Because remember, life can not always be full of sunshine and rainbows.

I think everyone should have a stint working in retail, just to learn basic customer service and maybe we wouldnt have such awful customers some times. When I use to work in retail, it was hit and miss, some days I would love my job, others I would hate it and never want to go back! Quitting was the best thing I ever did, but I am glad for the experiences it gave me!

Haha, seriously there’s no middle when it comes to working retail. I worked at Sears, TJ Maxx, and Macy’s and I really didn’t like them much at all. There are waaaaaay too many people to deal with and sometimes they’re really rude. Don’t get me wrong, there have been some great life and career lessons I’ve taken with me but I’m so glad I don’t have to hear the store music or be called to the register any longer!!!

Ahhh, but I kinda loved the christmas music they played!

I’m working at the retail at the moment and after bunch of us was booted, the athmosphere went down super quickly. Thank goodness I’m getting to maternity leave soon so I don’t have to spend more than two months over there anymore.

I have never worked in retail. But I always love reading about jobs and how people experience it. It gives so much valuable insights. Also on how to be when you’re a customer.

Ah, retail. I worked at Target for a bit and the it seems like some customers would come to the store just to make you feel miserable. Then there were the customers who could make your day brighter. It’s the perils of working with a bunch of people. The dressing rooms were probably the biggest source of my nightmare stories.
