Thai Rolled Ice Cream In Philadelphia

Thai Rolled Ice Cream In Philadelphia

Happy Sunday everyone and welcome back to my blog! So I hope you guys out there are enjoying your labor day weekend along with some good eats and fun times.  I will say that for me I have enjoyed my weekend so far, and I am definitely not looking forward to going into work tomorrow.  So besides me dreading to go to work, I wanted share a fun post with you guys.

A couple of weeks ago, I discovered a fairly new Ice Cream  and shaved ice shop in Chinatown called “Ice land”.

The shop located on 224 N. 10th St is Philly’s first made-to-order deserts. As you guys know, this is not my first time making a post about finding new eateries in Chinatown. In my last post that I shared with you entitled ” Beef and Brisket Pho”,  I described to you guys about my experience eating Pho for the first time. I also told you about how delicious and awesome I found it to be.  So yeah you guys when it comes to food, I am definitely an expert at finding the good eats.

So yesterday which was Saturday, I decided to get some thai rolled ice cream.  Now what makes this shop so unique is the fact that their signature thai rolled ice cream is made from scratch with no preservatives. It is  made by pouring cream, flavorings, and topping on a super-cold pan; a worker then scrapes and blends the ingredients.

The result is a creamy low fat dessert that can be topped with a variety of things that include fruit, marshmallows and more.  Meanwhile when it comes to the snow ice, workers make them up it beforehand and freeze it into blocks. The blocks go into a shaver that produces a concoction that is just as delicious as ice cream and Polish water ice.  The snow ice besides being delicious also comes in a variety of  toppings and syrups  that include nutella, condensed milk, peanut butter, etc.

So below is a picture of the Oreo Hero ice cream that i got instead of my usual Strawberry Shortcake.

I will say that not only was it out of this world, but it tasted just like cookies and cream ice cream.  So yeah you guys if you live in Philly definitely try out this spot because you will not be disappointed. On a site note if you guys get a Ice Land card like me, after 10 purchases you will be eligible to get either the free ice cream rolls or shaved ice.  For those of you guys who may not live in Philly, I believe that have other locations in New York and LA.  So I hope you all enjoyed this post and thanks again for stopping. Enjoy your holiday everyone!

That looks so pretty! I don’t think there’s any shop like that where I’m from, but if I visit my aunt in Philly sometime, I’ll have to try it. Gotta love ice cream!
