But First, What is olive oil?
Olive oil is a liquid fat obtained from olives, that is commonly used in cooking, whether for frying or as a salad dressing.
difference between infused vs fused olive oil
Fused oil: Is Made by crushing ripe whole, fresh fruits, herbs or vegetables at the time of crush.
Infused Oil: Infusing is the process of adding flavor to olive oil after being made.
Now when it comes to garlic, it is for sure a universal oil. Not only is it great for meats and veggies, but you can also use it in your pasta. For me, I love using it when I’m cooking my turkey meat or if I want to make garlic bread. Or even if I’m making a vinegarette for pasta salad or just a nice savory dressing, it is an excellent base.
Now if you want to add some spice to your dishes, this is a great oil. The North African spices in the oil combine the flavor of cumin, smoked chili peppers, coriander, and other flavors which makes it a perfect match for any Moroccan or Middle Eastern dishes. For me, I love using this oil if I’m making chili or tacos as well as shrimp or chicken dish.
When it comes to this oil, It is one that is also great for baking. So if a recipe calls for butter, this is a great healthy substitute. So for me, I love using this oil as a butter substitute for popcorn. Also, I love mixing this oil with my garlic infused oil for shrimp scampi as well.
