Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog. For this post, I will be talking about the infamous Unicorn Frappuccino sold by Starbucks. So after so much talk and hype about the drink, I finally got the chance to taste if for myself.
Today during my adventure in New York City, I decided to check out the Macy’s Herald Square. Located on 151 W 34th street, the store is humongous. The store has about 8 floors, 5 or more retaurants, and about 4 Starbucks locations spread throughout different levels of the store. So after going inside the store and browsing around for about 20 minutes, I came across Starbucks.
I guess if you guys may not have guessed it by now, I love Starbucks. Especially their frappuccinos which I always get everytime I go. So when i walked up to the register and ordered the drink, I was kind of suprised that they had it available. Mainly because the last time that I ordered the drink back home in Philly, they did not have the ingredients to make the drink. So as you guys can imagine, I was not a happy camper that time.
So after getting my drink and finding a seat to sit down in, it was time for the “taste”.
I will say that even though the drink did look pretty, it tasted okay. The flavor reminded me of cotton candy which made it taste sweet. At the same time, I did taste some hint of sourness too. Don’t get me wrong, I could definitely see myself getting this drink again, but to me it wasn’t nothing special. Just an ordinary frappuccino with cotton candy flavoring.
Though if I had to compare this frappuccino to my other 2 favorites by Starbucks which are the Vanilla Bean Creme and Strawberries & Creme, I would still go with my top two favorites. So what do you guys think?! Have you had the chance to try out this magical drink or are you still on the waiting list to get one lol?. If so definitely try to get your hands on this drink. Just know that what ever i say in this post is my own personal opinion so don’t let that stop you from giving this drink a try. So I hope you all enjoyed this post and talk to you all in another one!
